Pakmaya

Pakmaya is one of the world’s largest yeast brands, founded in Turkey’s Kocaeli province in 1973. The company owns production facilities all over the world.

Hafsa was approached by Pakmaya because of Pakmaya’s need for a MUI Halal Certification. A kind of certification which Hafsa is accredited to provide. Pakmaya needed the certification to enter new markets, including Indonesia.

The certification process for Pakmaya took about 4 weeks. These 4 weeks mainly contained audits and conference calls as Pakmaya had already made quite some steps.
